Position Overview

As a Charity Events Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting mission-driven events that raise awareness, engage local communities, and support nonprofit fundraising initiatives.

You will work closely with event coordinators and team members to ensure smooth execution of events from setup through completion, gaining valuable real-world experience in nonprofit event planning, donor engagement, and community outreach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of charity and fundraising events
  • Support on-site event logistics and day-of coordination

  • Handle event registration, guest check-ins, and participant coordination

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • College coursework in communications, marketing, nonprofit studies, public relations, or related fields is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, dependable, and able to multitask in fast-paced environments
  • Positive, coachable, and team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for events
