Role Overview

As a Public Relations & Communications Assistant, you’ll support PR and marketing efforts by helping execute campaigns, coordinate events, and engage with local communities. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience across event communications, nonprofit outreach, and brand messaging.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support campaign planning, event coordination, and community engagement initiatives

  • Represent nonprofit partners at community events, fundraisers, and promotional activations

  • Assist with the creation of press kits, outreach materials, and public-facing content

  • Interact professionally with event attendees, donors, volunteers, and media contacts

  • Track campaign performance, engagement metrics, and event feedback

  • Contribute creative ideas to strengthen communication strategies and expand community reach
